Good value, takes some getting used to

I really like that the paddles are clear, and I'm not ready for the paddles that have the channel instead of the holes. My technique has improved and I can feel how they are strengthening my arm (and ab!) muscles. I'm a bit disappointed that the plastic seems to have some impact damage already (I've had them about a month and I swim 3 - 4 hours a week), not cracks but those lines that look like they could become cracks, if that makes sense? I also probably need to understand better where the rubber bits should go because occasionally they will slip on my power stroke and my arm goes awry. Having said all that, those are pretty minor niggles.
